As Elle Woods would say, Cosmo magazine is the modern woman’s answer to the “bible”.

This month Australia’s Cosmopolitan magazine celebrates its 40th birthday… and being the sassy, sultry and stylish publication that it is, it only makes sense to have a lavish birthday bash to celebrate.

Yesterday Editor Bronwyn McCahon hosted a Cosmo birthday lunch at Otto Ristorante in Woolloomooloo and was joined by former editors Mia Freedman, Sarah Wilson and Pat Ingram.

Some of Australia’s hottest media personalities were also on hand to celebrate including Jodi Gordon-Anasta, Laura Dundovic, Rachael Finch and Zoe Foster.

2013 PRIX DE MARIE CLAIRE AWARDS - JODI ANASTA

Some of the biggest names in Australian beauty and fashion attended the annual Prix de Marie Claire Awards in Sydney last week.

The black tie-style soiree was held at The Star, paying tribute to the industry with the likes ofLara Bingle, Megan Gale, Laura Dundovic and Jodi Anasta strutting the red carpet.

The fab fashion masterminds also present included designers Camilla Franks, Alex Perry and Sass & Bide’s Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke.

We do love this awards night and the reason is simple - it’s all about MEN, MEN, MEN !

Tonight GQ Magazine hosted its annual ‘Man Of The Year’ Awards at The Ivy in Sydney and we can tell you, the eye candy stakes were high and so were the “you are my future husband” stakes!

Some of Australia’s hottest media personalities attended the event where home grown hottie Chris Hemsworth was awarded the ultimate ‘Man Of The Year’ award.  Chris wasn’t on hand tonight but his super cute parents took the pleasure of accepting the award.

Introducing ‘FROCKTOBER’ !

Forget that charcoal pantsuit, those ripped jeans and your leather leggings.  October’s super sweet Spring weather poses as the perfect excuse to show off your gorgeous legs in a different dress every day. 

The REAL excuse though, is Frocktober’s bid to raise awareness and funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. 

By wearing a different dress for each day of October, and asking family and friends for donations, we are combining our love for chic couture and charity, and you won’t regret it!
